click to jump is a bad idea and very unresponsive, which is bad. especially for a game that RELIES on jumping. while the concept of changing colors is an interesting one, the fact that the jumps are unresponsive ruins it

good concept, but it feels like you are doing nothing and have no control of the battle

In the final version you will press and drag to control where your ships aim initially. Do you think abilities you can activate would help? Examples would be buffs, debuffs or maybe a heal.

i was going to give this game a two out of five but then i had an idea. I had a friend play as firefox. That made the game twice as fun. i just don't have the skill to go in solo.

this game is a throwback to the 2600\pc games I had a game like this on my Comidoor in the early days of computer gaming
this is not a high budget game but more so a indi style, i think this is grate. thank you.
i think that one of your earlier commenters brought this up, there is a visibility problum on the latter stages. add a few pixles to your animation and this would make a good arcade cabinet game.

this is in interesting one. it's a scavenger hunt game with with seemingly in invisible time limit. i think the addition of a scrapbook or page counter could add something to the game. out side of that nothing to say. good work and thank you.

so after watching Mark form Markiplier games play this i took his challenge and tried playing it. i beet his score by 1%. this is pretty good of a platformer but i feel it is bordering on a troll game as in the latter half of the game it is more about memory the anything else. thank you

i really wanted to like this game and 'm going to say outright that half the problems i had might have had more to do with my computer then the games program, there seems to be horrible frame-rate in this game, it tome me 33 seconds to walk form the chest in the second room to the stairwell, then i hit a bug that popped-up a menu asking me if i would like to restart the game, i was still able to play but half the screen was hidden by the menu then i saw my first death sceen which was admissible cool but then it seems that there is not a save or continue option and it took my body 8 seconds to hit the floor and the game auto rest on me and i had to quit out. i'm going to try this game again on a difrant computer see if all the same stuff happens. in sorry to be a downer like this it's nt really me, but what can i say the game just didn't work on my computer

so on a technical the game is functional , the story is absent but that is ok this is an arcade game not a platform game. the sound effects are somewhat interesting, i think it might be nice to have a little more substances to the sound or ambiances of some kind but this is a miner gripe, the controls work spot on so all i can say is that you have a good game. it wasn't to my taste but i'm not here to dictate my feelings to anyone.
i did really like your pixel work, and that is about all i can say. so.. thank you for your hard work and i look forward to seeing what you post in the future.

O.k. so im not going to repeat the others on this, you undoubted noticed the animation jumps between frames, and that right at the beginning there is a wall you can walk thought that i don't think was intentional.
here is what i did see: the game has the same lack of textureing some whut like the first Metroid game (i think that's ok but i could see where others might not like that), there seems to be no sound some atmosphere music might be cool or at least inviremental sound (if you could look up 'Dreamland' by Robbert Miles or maybe 'Pipe Dreams' hmmm. can't remember the name of the band, and this one is less importune obsticals and the option to do really anything about it.
so, to brake it down, I think you might have a winner hear, or a-test a respectable game if you added some sound effects, music, some moving objects in the background or shadows and landmarks, and smooth out the animations.
now i really don't want to sound like this is all bad because it really isn't. this game looks much like the old 32bit screensaver on my Mac. I always thought that would have maid a really cool game but as fair as i know no game was ever maid of the ilk.
i am excited to hear if any of this is helpful. feel free to write me.

Ok, I think you are off to a good start on this I noticed some bugs though. a lot of them seemingly having been triggered by the lighting. I am playing on a older computer that runs on the vista engine and i'm using firefox 9.6 if that means anything to you. as you start the game you are facing a wall. that's cool, there is some distortion in the corners of the screen at start-up that might be from my old monitor or maybe you put it thre i can't tell. it seems that when you look right you are faced with a table, when the lights flicker you can see what looks like a cog on it only after the lights have gone on and off twice can you pick it up. looking left form there is a bathroom (give or take) now this is where i see the next thing that looks out of place. i am seeing a shadow of the cog that is in my invintory in the sink as if i could pick it up a second time. this clearly isn't the case again this might be part of the game but it seems somehow wrong to me, I have played some other point-&-clicks something i've seen done to avoid confusion when things like this come up is that they will highlight object that can be moved when you scroll over them or allow you to highlight all objects on screen by holding tab. the last thing i saw was a graphical bug when looking at the dogbowl under the bed in-between flicker of light there is a bloodsplater on the wall that changes shape. this happens a lot in games that run on a 16bit driver or smaller it's more or less a color filter glitch and no real problem if you are seeing this to maybe you could look into it but there are lots of things that could cos this and most of them aren't your fault.
allright that was a moth full. anyway thank you for the post, i like the game textureing, it's really gritty and foggy like mid 90's SH games or late MAC suspense and i think you could build on this a good deal. i remember that there was a game i had played at the end of the MAC's life I can't remember the name but it had the same first puzzle as this one but then went on to this pergitory like atmosphere with these sleeping divine creatures that you had to free and do jobs for to earn your way out of this cosmic holding-cell. if you write me back i can tell you more but at this point i need sleep. thank you again and good night.
