you're not wrong, it is pong. i like the BGM you used but i think that a title card might be in order same with some SEF you could turn on and off. maybe a speed setting to start the game also. think about it and let me know how you feel about these ideas.

Sounds good, that stuff you said will probably help me out. If I'm gonna work on this any longer, I'll probably re-code it because the whole thing is coded in the timeline, so I want practice using .as files.

for a demolition game this works out pretty well, i completed it in about 15-20. i think that my biggest grip is that it is unclear what the artillery does, the rocket and the bomb don't seem to behave apart form one another, also on stage 18 one of the vertical cenderblocks would not tip, i ended up pushing it out of the field of play to win, i thought that was fun.

i have played a hand full of these mirror games and for the most part i find then needlessly complicated. in this case you found a way to keep it easy, no doubt the game is tuffe but not unplayable like some of the fire/ice2play games. i think it is because you mapped the controls to only 5 keys unlike the last programer i saw do this that used 8. what i particularly liked was your end level screen-cap. vary cute. i did spot one thing that seemed on as i played, i was looking for a quick stage select key and pressed space at the end of a board and a attack bubble was just floating on the next stage when i started, don't know what happend there but that had no impact on your score. keep it up you are grate.

i cant say i liked this one. the first thing that got to me as i played this was the lack of SE and BGM, if this game had a simple sound track to go with it i feel that would add a lot to the game. this looks like something the Atari 2600 might have had in it's lineup, if that is the feel you are looking for a point counter would be cool and a life counter. if you have played pitfall 2 on the 2600 i think you know what i am leaning at. the thing i found the hardest in this is that the scope of your vision has more horizontal range then vertical but seeing you can jump over the screen maybe that played a factor at some point. maybe you could tighten the POV and the controls some but i don't know about that.
it seems that there is some time and energy in this so i hate to cut into it so deep so i think i will have to cut myself short on this. I like what you have done and i think you could do a lot with this if you build on top of it. I think i played a skydiving SIM at one point called DOA so i have seen this type of game play, it is really fun once it is pallished up but that is a hard road to walk i bet. keep it up, work hard and thank you for your time.

I have every intention to revamp this game a bit with better animation a sountrack and even a more variety of obstacle and level backgrounds. I cant say this one is coming out anytime soon but I will upload it when its done.

it took some doing but i got everything. i would like it if the game had some more stuff to do. you seem to have three save slots, a guard command and item key that have no function. but seeing what you do have this looks to be a pretty good joke i the end, thank you, i look forward to what you put out next.

i do like your idea, i think the game runs a touch on the ruff side, and the music is not was i was hopping for, i think if you added some more natural sound that could help out some: like a soft footstep sound, or running water, maybe a chattering from the torch. and if you had some sound or vision que for your ending that might be cool. i cant say this is more fun games i have played this week but it was a new look at something i have seen before. it's cool, smooth it out and add some sound and odsticals to run from and let me know how it looks and feels, thank you have a good day/

I think i know the game Igotnolife is thinking of, i was "You Will Loose" i got a link to if from Markiplier's web sight. as for this game i love the political stuff, Edward Snowden is a heroic figure i feel and this is a fun game over all, I think that the art style could be worked up some but you have tight controls and your music works for me. out side asterisks i see nothing about this game that up to par or better. i got walled on level 8 for some time but every time i fell i felt like it was my falt and that is good, thank you and have a good day.

Hi,

thanks for the feedback.
Glad you like the story.

Normaly my games are easy to play and quite fair. I wanted to make something else this time.

cheers

ypu have a fair start to a game here but it seems like there are some clipping errors, this comes up a bit, i don't know what cosses it but half of your menu bar is off the srceen making it hard to read, fix that and this game will be a lot better, i don't know how i feel about the drag and drop thing but that is because I am a NES player and i'm used to everything being assigned a one or two botten combo. so i can't dock you on that, over all, not to bad, thank you.

this is better then before, i love the leveling idea and the item set up, i think i found a glitch on the woods thou there you can fall in a hole and run under the screen, this is a demo and that is forgivable, thank you vary much i am going to keep playing now.

your art and music are something i can get behind. but i think that your difficulty curve is a touch in the red, this is only slightly easier then Mega Man NES. tepicly i try to be a bit more en depth with my reviews but just like when i played Mega Man Unleashed i seem to have hit a wall. sorry.
